Camberwell Talks: Spring & Summer 2023

Join us for some heartwarming and informative talks by fascinating locals:

• CAMBERWELL ARTS – IT’S SHOWTIME!

Monday 5th June, 7pm @ Golden Goose Theatre

To tie in with the theme of It’s Showtime, we are teaming up with Camberwell Arts for this fascinating talk.

Richard Norman, venerated local historian, entertains us with stories of how Camberwell contributed to the early days of pioneering film production, musical hall variety and comedy.

Richard will include film clips, songs and music in his talk, which promises to be an unforgettable evening!

Richard Norman is a local historian specialising in buildings designed for entertainment and has given talks at the Victorian and Albert Museum, Tate Modern and many local history societies.
