Anna Stokes is a composer and vocalist based in South London. She has written original scores for several short films and documentaries, and works as a music editor and orchestrator on film and TV projects. She has always had a passion for language and enjoys exploring this in her free compositions.
Anna will be performing three pieces inspired by classical romanticism, folk and jazz ballads, and using lyrics from Carol Ann Duffy’s anthology of love poems, ‘Rapture’.
Will Davenport is a London-based composer, pianist and producer from Stoke-On-Trent, UK. He is fascinated by the potential interplay of electronic and acoustic sound worlds. His music moves between the intimate, the expansive, and the immersive.
Will’s performance is ‘Music for an Empty House’ with Recorder player Julien Evans. It’s an intimate sonic investigation into time spent alone in a space, and how our internal landscape – memories, and mood – shapes the spaces we are in.
Ben Pearson is a composer and performer known for his compelling and Imaginative work. In the last few years he has written a score for the silent classic ‘Nosferatu’ as-well as be nominated for an Ivor-Novello award for his work on the tv series ‘The Thief His Wife and The Canoe’.
Ben will be performing a selection of pieces from his latest piano-led album ‘Spinning’ alongside cellist Rebecca Burden. The album is a musical diary of the last four years and Ben will be connecting the dots in between each piece.
