Way Back When; an interactive family stage show by Jacqui Livingston.

Alex is bored at Grandma’s house, while Grandma is sorting through donations for a jumble sale. With nothing else to do, Alex starts helping and discovers each item has its own tale of Grandma’s travels from Jamaica to London, aboard the Windrush and beyond. Enjoy vibrant storytelling, traditional games, and audience participation in this heartwarming journey through time.

Originally staged in 2019, we’re delighted to bring Way Back When to audiences across Southwark and beyond as part of Southwark Council’s Windrush 75 celebrations.
